Sheldon Laube Founded Artkick to Turn TVs into Tasteful Art Displays

As entertaining as large, flat-screen television sets are when people are using them to watch shows, movies and sports, they can also be an eyesore during a party or causal get-together when people aren’t using them.  Cool person in technology Sheldon Laube has found a way to give TVs a better purpose when not performing their primary function.  Laube has created Artkick, which provides a massive archive of photographs and digital artwork for users to push to their television displays wirelessly through an Android and iPhone app.  Artkick users can wirelessly control what images display on their large screen televisions using their phones.  Laube wants people to be able to repurpose their televisions easily when not using them.  With Artkick, people can instantly make their televisions into eye-catching art displays that make their home feel more welcoming to visitors.  Users simply connect their phones to their televisions through a Wi-Fi signal and select whatever image they want displayed.  Anyone who has trouble connecting their smartphones to their TVs through their wireless Internet will need to get home network support for help. 5G Wi-Fi Is (Almost) Here!

One of the common misconceptions many people have when they hear the advertising about smartphones is that “4G” refers to the speed of data transfers across a network.  “4G” does not actually mean something like “four gigabytes per second” or anything of the sort.  Instead, “4G” is a simple term referring to the fourth generation of standards that guide transfers over wireless cellular networks.  But even as 4G networks are the key selling point to current hardware like the Samsung Infuse 4G or the Sony Xperia 4G, if Broadcom has its way, 4G will soon be passé.  Broadcom has innovated the fifth generation of cellular wireless standards. A Truly Wireless World – Is This the Future?

Wireless power, or at least the idea of it, has been around for centuries. Nikola Tesla invented the first “Tesla coils” that produced an electrical field able to wirelessly power light bulbs up to fifty feet away in the late 1800s. Unfortunately, this did not lead to widespread use of wireless power.

Constantly, every day, there are thousands of wireless energy signals being sent back and forth across large distances, but we have yet to perfect easy methods of wireless electricity. That might be about to change.

For a while, there have been wireless charging stations available for cell phones, but those come riddled with many mobile computer support problems. Most of the time, these wireless-charging stations will only work with certain products, or they become obsolete when you upgrade to a new model of phone because of incompatibility.
