ShopPad is Better Mobile Website Optimization

photo shoppad-is-better-mobile-website-optimization.jpgFor every retailer that desires to take advantage of technology to increase sales, optimizing a website for mobile devices is an absolute must.  While there are many providers offering this service to businesses, ShopPad is one that offers more than the basis website-to-mobile conversion most offer.  It is a well-known fact that mobile devices bring new opportunities and considerations for how businesses and customers interact.  Mobile optimization streamlines website performance and interaction, and this is something that ShopPad works to build upon even more efficiently.  It does more to improve mobile commerce on the whole in a way than many developers offering a similar service can.  It also makes it easier for businesses to implement, allowing them to add logos, fonts, images and colors within a matter of minutes without requiring a single line of code, something very helpful to small retailers that cannot afford to pay a developer to create a website for them. Katrina Lake is Curating Style as CEO of Stitch Fix

Finding affordable clothing that still maintains a strong sense of someone’s personal style and looks great is not as easy as most people would imagine.  Many who have a particular sense of style often have to sacrifice those preferences due to financial setbacks or issues of availability.  Cool person in technology Katrina Lake wants to make finding one’s personal style and being able to flaunt it as simple as becoming a member of a subscription service.  Lake’s company Stitch Fix provides what is, essentially, personal fashion consulting by subscription.  Users pay Stitch Fix a monthly fee of twenty dollars and receive a box of five clothing items to try on for themselves every thirty days.  Customers decide what items to send back and which to keep.  They only pay for the items they decide to hold onto and simply return what they don’t want. Volusion Provides Small Businesses with Complete E-commerce Solutions

Small business owners who don’t have the technical knowledge or the right connections can have a lot of trouble setting up an online store for web-based clientele.  Cool product Volusion provides a complete e-commerce solution for businesses covering every aspect of the process.  Volusion distinguishes itself from its competitors by including every aspect of e-commerce for small business rather than focus on one particular point of it.  Other services provide help with an online POS system, social media marketing, or order processing.  However, these services usually come from separate companies, making the process less convenient and fractured for already-stressed business owners.  Volusion differentiates itself by offering solutions for all of these things in one complete package.  The company wants to be a one-stop solution of sorts and give small businesses one experience for all of their e-commerce dealings.  In theory, this sort of all-in-one solution could reduce the need for business IT support services.  However, in practice, that may not be the case, as people may need tech support to help them learn the ropes of Volusion’s software. StreetHub CEO Alex Loizou Wants to Show People Products Available Near Them

While online shopping has become the norm for many people, many still prefer to shop in physical stores.  This is especially true for home-based products like furniture and decoration.  No matter how many pictures someone looks at online, seeing the physical product in person is always preferable when it’s going to be on display in one’s home.

Cool person in technology Alex Loizou has created a product that uses the resources of the web to help people who prefer to shop in the physical world.  Loizou’s product StreetHub has a database of items on sale in retail shops and boutiques.  Using GPS technology to cross-reference with this database, Loizou’s website connects users with nearby shops that carry the specific products and items they want.  This way, a user can browse through products online but still go out and purchase them from a physical store once they find what they want from the convenience of their home.  If someone is on Loizou’s site and sees a set of table and chairs they like, or any other product, that person can still go to the store and see it in person before buying.  StreetHub could be a godsend for anyone who has ever bought items online only for them to be very different than a shopping website represented them.  Since StreetHub uses Wi-Fi and GPS to determine location, someone who has a computer with these features broken may need home computer repair to use Loizou’s service.
