Sometimes, the hard work of an executive is realized when the company they work for is bought out.  As a matter of course in corporate negotiations, companies that are being bought out tend to have executives who the new company must either absorb or compensate.  Large companies give promotions to the most valuable executives in such mergers as encouragement to stay on to make the transition between the old company and the new company smoother.  William D. Ingram has proven his worth in the telecommunications world; in at least two corporate buy-outs, his professional advancement has been a part of the package!

William D. Ingram is the Executive Vice President and Acting Chief Financial Officer of Leap Wireless International.  Ingram has been ambitious in promoting Leap Wireless and its subsidiaries, most notably Cricket Wireless.  When Leap Wireless needed to have someone assume the duties of Chief Financial Officer, it was unsurprising that they chose William D. Ingram worked for Pacific Communications Services.  By the time Nuera Communications bought Pacific Communications Services, Ingram was well along the management track.  His final position with PCS was as Chief Operating Officer of their prestigious and profitable Clarity Products Division.

With the buyout of Pacific Communications Services, Nuera Communications invested heavily in William D. Ingram.  As President and CEO of Nuera Communications, Ingram strengthened the company and made it a force in the Voice Over Internet Protocol industry.  Between promoting VOIP technology and steering Nuera to manufacture products that utilized Voice Over Internet Protocol technology, Ingram effectively rebranded Nuera Communications.  As Leap Wireless International explored VOIP technology, William D. Ingram’s successful enterprises at Nuera Communications made it easier for Leap to buy the company, as opposed to build a VOIP division from the ground up.  Rewarding Ingram in the buyout, Leap Wireless made William D. Ingram an executive vice president.

Now at Leap Wireless, William D. Ingram is a powerful executive in the telecommunications industry.  As Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Ingram directs all of the operations and financial functions of Cricket and Leap Wireless.  William D. Ingram is responsible for auditing the company’s records, dealing with investors, and providing for the financial planning that will keep Leap Wireless growing for the next decade. 

With William D. Ingram engaged in such vital roles for Leap Wireless, it is unsurprising Leap International and Cricket are continuing to grow!
