Show Someone You Care With 123greetings.com!
As the world moves away from print media and more toward the dominance of digital media, it is unsurprising that more products and services that we used to have printed now are easily available on the Internet. Already, the rise of e-readers and tablet computers has made a significant impact on how people read and purchase books. The greeting card industry has been scrambling to use the Internet to remain financially viable. That might be a hard sell, though; like so many things on the Internet, there are some great free e-card sites. One of them is 123greetings.com.
123greetings.com is a digital greeting card website that currently has an inventory of more than 340 greeting cards that you may e-mail to anyone who has an e-mail address. The digital greeting cards are free, which is very nice. Moreover, using 123greetings.com does not seem to get you put on any weird mailing lists, so long as you unclick the box when you send a card about being put on the mailing list.
Using 123greetings.com is very easy. The site is graphic-intensive, but very simple. First, find a card you want to send. The homepage of 123greetings.com has cards that are popular, new, and most viewed, along with a sidebar of card options organized by popularity or event. When you find a card you want to send, all you have to do is input your name and e-mail address and the recipient’s name and e-mail address. You may add an additional message, but otherwise, it is easy as that; click “ok” and your e-card is sent!
What your friend receives is a file or a link (depending upon their inbox settings). The e-card is a brightly colored graphic and most of them have animation. The animations tend to be cute, like an animated bear walking in a field, tripping, and another bear walking up to give the first bear a hug. The greetings accompany the graphics and most of the cards have music to accompany the animation.
123greetings.com makes it very easy to share e-cards (and the fact that you have sent e-cards) on Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and LinkedIn. The site also offers a way to customize the cards you send, including changing the music that is associated with the card. If you enjoy using 123greetings.com, you may establish a free account that allows you to keep track of important events in your life and the lives of your friends, so you know when to send e-cards! You can even make printable versions of many of the cards.
Sometimes, you don’t have to spend money to make someone’s day brighter. For a free, thoughtful way to show someone that you are thinking of them, 123greetings.com is very cool.
