Selling The World On Jawbone, Katie Boysen Is Articulate And Efficient!

With so many companies making Bluetooth headsets, it can be very hard for some of the innovative manufacturers of such devices to get noticed by the potential customer base.  Many of the smaller companies have discovered that having a cool device that fills the needs of a specific niche is not enough.  Like many tech sector companies, the makers of Bluetooth-compatible devices are rapidly finding that they need superstar-style public relations teams to promote their product and generate the buzz that makes for a successful product release.  Jawbone has that type Public Relations Manager in Katie Boysen.

 

Katie Boysen is the Public Relations & Marketing Manager for Jawbone, the manufacturers of such Bluetooth devices as the Aliph Era Bluetooth headset.  Boysen has been with Jawbone in that capacity since July 2010 and her expertise has been instrumental in promoting many of Jawbone’s most successful products, like the Aliph Era.  While Katie Boysen came to the position as an expert in the field of public relations, Jawbone has given her one of her first opportunities to lead teams.  As the Manager of the Public Relations and Marketing Departments, Boysen oversees the work of the teams promoting Jawbone products, while still spearheading several of the campaigns herself and presenting a public face for Jawbone.  Katie Boysen devotes considerable time to explaining forthcoming and newly released products with press releases that generate significant enthusiasm for Jawbone products.

 

That Katie Boysen would come to Jawbone with impressive public relations skills and the ability to lead a team is unsurprising considering she was previously employed with the impressive Loomis Group.  The Loomis Group hired Boysen straight out of college as a Public Relations Account Executive.  In that role, she spent almost three years working on four major accounts.  In addition to creating published content for products and clients, Boysen gained a wealth of hands-on training by setting up booths for her clients at major industry trade shows.  Not at all a stranger to the power of social media, Katie Boysen helped establish social networking presences – like Twitter and Facebook accounts – for her corporate clients.  At the Loomis Group, Katie Boysen distinguished herself with her efficiency, articulation, and creativity, which are all great qualities for public relations personnel.

 

Prior to joining the Loomis Group, Katie Boysen studied Communications and Public Relations at California State University in Sacramento.  As important to the classroom education she received, she was afforded the opportunity for internships within her chosen field.  Katie Boysen availed herself of those opportunities, taking internships at the Sacramento Convention and Visitors Bureau and another one at OutCast Communications in 2007.  Through both of the opportunities, she received incredible real-world training in the field of public relations.

 

Now at Jawbone, Katie Boysen is doing an excellent job promoting Bluetooth headsets for the company; if you see an advertisement for a new Jawbone product, you can bet Katie Boysen had something to do with it!
