A graduate of Iowa State University’s Apparel Merchandise, Production and Design program, Kristin Hunziker had a strong desire to design fashion products.  She got her chance in 1997 when she went to work at apparel company Land’s End.  As part of the Quality and Product Development departments, she gained firsthand insight on how the catalog company made the transition to a web-based presence.  Eager to do more design work, though, Kristin Hunziker left Land’s End in 2000 for Oakley, where she served as a footwear developer.

In 2003, Hunziker took on a Marketing & Product Development position at the sporting goods company ASICS.  It was there that Kristin Hunziker both cemented her desire to run her own business and realized the true power of using the Internet for marketing and sales.  As Hunziker and her co-founder, Joe, built the company, they directed the development of Ju-ju-be.com.  Now, Ju-ju-be.com is a bright, fun, and active website with a strong social-networking component to it.  Hunziker keeps her customers engaged with almost daily blog postings and up-to-the-minute product release and Ju-Ju-Be event information.
