A Cool Alternative To The iPod Shuffle: MPaxx 940!
Not everyone has the funds or interest in an Apple iPod. In fact, there is a decent population – especially of active, athletic, individuals – who wants to be able to listen to music, but does not want to run around with hardware that costs hundreds of dollars. For sure, Apple has attempted to win over that demographic with their iPod Shuffle. But for those who might not want the hassle of making an iTunes account or being sucked into the Apple culture, there is the MPaxx 940 MP3 player.
The MPaxx 940 is manufactured by Grundig and is intended to provide the user with a sporty, compact, MP3 player. It does not have a screen or many bells and whistles, which makes it very easy to use, especially for those who are not tech savvy. The MPaxx 940 has a 4 GB storage capacity and comes in seven trendy colors. For those who need less space for their music, Grundig also makes a 2 GB MPaxx 920.
Weighing only 25 grams, the brightly colored MPaxx 940 MP3 player is very easy to use. In addition to being very light, the MPaxx 940 has very simple controls. When you press the central power button, a tiny green LED lights up in the corner of the player. Outside that, the controls are all accessed by a single square button. Depending upon which side of the button you press, you can raise or lower the volume or skip forward or back a track. Using an MP3 player does not get any easier than the MPaxx 940! The lack of confusing controls at which you have to look makes the MPaxx 940 an ideal MP3 player for runners or other athletes who want to listen to music while exercising and not be bothered by having to look at a screen!
Putting your music onto the MPaxx 940 is very easy as well. The MPaxx 940 is plug and play compatible with any system running Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2000 or ME. The MPaxx 940 MP3 player connects to your personal computer using a standard USB port. The USB port on your computer connects to the MPaxx 940 through a specialized cord that comes with the MP3 player. Grundig provides additional software that makes it easy to translate your music discs into MP3 files and load them into your MPaxx 940. With the 4 GB capacity, the MPaxx 940 may hold thousands of MP3 files and with the 3.7 V lithium polymer battery, you should get 12 hours of continuous play before you need to recharge it!
For an alternative to an iPod, the MPaxx 940 is the way to go!
