Guerrino De Luca is the Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Logitech. Managing the small software company for less than three years gave Guerrino De Luca the experience needed to return to Apple.
When he returned to Apple Computers, Guerrino De Luca was welcomed into the management track. As Executive Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, De Luca translated his engineering knowledge and management experience into a successful marketing experience for one of the biggest computer companies in the world. With his success at marketing Apple Computers throughout Europe, Guerrino De Luca completed the skill set of an effective manager in the tech sector. This made him instantly attractive to Logitech.
Since joining Logitech, Guerrino De Luca has helped catapult Logitech into the big leagues of the computer peripherals industry. When he took over Logitech, the company had annual revenue of $400 million and operating income of $16 million, annually. In 2008, when Guerrino De Luca was promoted to Chairman of the Board, Logitech’s annual revenue was over two billion dollars and $230 million in operating income.
Now that Guerrino De Luca holds all of the vital leadership reins at Logitech, all of the responsibility for the company’s survival is on him. With his track record, the customers and employees at Logitech have every reason to be confident in their company!
