Introducing the Newest Computer Makers
In the past Vizio has dealt exclusively in televisions and, within the last year, tablets. Their products have always been reasonably priced and of durable quality, hardly ever requiring any kind of computer repair. With their sleek designs and Smart TVs, Vizio has long been a reliable company from whom to buy good televisions. They constantly try to push the boundaries. Even this year, they released two mind-blowing televisions: an 84-inch Smart TV with a resolution of 4000×2000 and their Cinema Wide TV, which shows videos in 21:9 widescreen just like at the movie theaters.
This year, though, Vizio stepped dramatically out of its comfort zone and began making computers. They introduced three new laptops and two new all-in-one desktops at the Consumer Electronics Show. The sleek look and silver coloring of these computers give them a widely impressive design.
The two all-in-one desktop computers come in 24-inch and 27-inch models, with a wireless multitouch trackpad, wireless keyboard, and a subwoofer. The very thin all-in-one desktop computers do not even appear any thicker than a normal monitor does because the internal components of the computer are all in the slim base on which it stands.
One of the great features of these all-in-one Vizio computers is that they can easily transform into a television screen by plugging an HDMI cable into the slot. This means you can plug in a game console, a DVD player, a Blu-ray player, or anything else that works with HDMI and play them directly on the screen.
Of the three laptops that Vizio debuted, two are Thin + Light models. Vizio does not call them ultrabooks, but they qualify according to the loose standards that currently define ultrabooks. The thin laptops, a 14” and a 15.6”, are lightweight, portable, and attractive. The thicker 15.6” laptop has a hard drive the others lack as well as a much better video card. None of the laptops had an optical drive when they were debuted, but an external one will be available separately.
On their website, Vizio says that they are attempting to revolutionize the way people think about their PCs. They want people to look forward to turning on their computer, so they have taken the time to re-imagine what people want out of their computers and have created an integrated entertainment product.
If you are looking into buying a new computer, do not hesitate to find someone to provide computer support. Computer specialists, such as those at RESCUECOM, will help you decide if Vizio’s new computers are right for you. It seems that Vizio’s headfirst leap into the computer technology battle is going to pay off with this impressive line of laptops and all-in-one desktops and the future of computers looks brighter when seen through Vizio’s concepts.
