Roden founded FancyHands in 2010.   He has grown the business from just himself and his computer into a national team of employees and virtual assistants.  Until 2011, he also ran another project called enjoysthin.gs, which helped users collect and share things on the Internet.  In the past, he worked as a developer at both Vimeo.com and Network Ninja, Inc.  His background in technology and programming gave Roden the expertise he needed to find a technological way to give everyone a personal assistant.  However, it was his drive and intelligence that allowed Roden to turn his project into a successful business.

Roden has fine-tuned his service to make sure his company’s virtual assistants can cover a broad range of tasks, but they can’t do everything.  They cannot offer tech support, give legal advice, or anything that requires specific expertise.  Roden knows that people need help getting simple things done, like calling the cable company or handling appointments.  That’s why he has worked to create a solution that can benefit anyone who finds themselves drowned in small tasks.
