Sam Zebarjadi Founded Medicast to Give People Doctors On-Demand

Getting medical attention isn’t always as easy as calling the doctor’s office.  There are countless situations where getting medical advice or care becomes a gargantuan task.  People who live in rural or isolated areas can’t go to a doctor’s office for a check-up or a simple opinion.  Even when a doctor’s office is in reach, people who are sick enough that they can’t get themselves there have no way to find out what illness afflicts them.  This can lead to diseases and medical conditions going undiagnosed and people not getting the proper treatment for their medical problems.

Medicast CEO and cool person in technology Sam Zebarjadi founded Medicast to take steps towards solving the problem of access to medical care and attention.  Medicast uses technology to create on-demand access to medical professionals.  Zebarjadi’s company essentially takes the model commonly used in services like onsite computer repair and instead applies it to the medical field.  With Medicast, patients can request medical help in their homes, offices, or anywhere else through the Internet.  Users simply request medical help through the company’s website or by downloading Zebarjadi’s mobile application.  On Zebarjadi’s website, the company claims that doctors usually show up within two hours of a request.  If that holds true, Medicast is offering medical care with a level of convenience never seen before in the healthcare industry. This type or service could point to a shift in the healthcare industry if it catches on properly.

Medicast does not require any long-term subscriptions for people to use its services.  Users can request help at any time as long as they have access to the Medicast website or to the company’s app.  Zebarjadi’s app is currently available on the Apple App Store for those who want to be able to request service using their iPhone.  Apple tech support can help people who encounter issues while trying to download the app.

Before founding and becoming CEO of Medicast, Zebarjadi spent six years working at Nokia.  At Nokia, he was responsible for deploying large-scale consumer services at an international level.  He has also managed sales and marketing at several other Fortune 1000 companies.  If anyone is capable of growing Medicast and deploying the company’s services at a large scale as the startup envisions, it’s Sam Zebarjadi.
