BlendAbout connects people by linking up with their already made social networking profiles.  Spivak’s company lets users connect with Facebook, Google+, Twitter, or LinkedIn.  What social network people choose to connect with will also inform how BlendAbout matches them with other people.  For example, if someone connects via Facebook, they are likely looking for people who match up with their hobbies and recreational interests.  However, those who connect using LinkedIn are likely more interested in finding other professionals that they can network with for future professional benefit.  Those who struggle while trying to connect their social networking profiles with Spivak’s website can get help from a remote tech support provider.
