CabEasy is Ridesharing for Students
With the rising popularity of ride-sharing apps and the increasingly competitive market for such service, it is clear that these apps, which allow for cheaper and easier vehicle sharing or carpooling, are here to stay. CabEasy is one such app with the distinction that its service is available specifically to university students, and it is more effective than others of its kind in connecting users with a community of drivers and riders that they know and trust. Also unlike these other apps, users are not using their personal vehicles. Instead, it is an effective way of getting fellow students to split the cost of a taxi when all are going to the same destination. Users can be “ride pioneers,” who post rides for other riders to join, or ride joiners, who respond to these posts. As many people can take advantage of a ride share as are able to fit in the taxi, and students can save a great deal of money by splitting the cost of the ride anywhere they want to go with the added safety of numbers.
CabEasy, specifically tailored for a user’s particular school, features mobile tech support for any Android or iOS device, so students can access it anywhere they are on or off campus. They log in by their school rather than personal login, though their name is available for others to see, after which they can view any local options available, select a destination, and look for rides that would work for you. If a user cannot find a ride that matches their needs, he or she can then post a new one that others can join. Once you have created a ride group or found one to join, you can see who is on that ride or looking for one such as the one you posted. You can also set or discover where you will be meeting and, based on the number of people, distance, and particular cab charges, how much you are to pay.
There is a social function to the app as well, such as an internal messaging tool that allows you to communicate directly with your ride group. CabEasy identifies common and well-known points of interest in order to facilitate the matching process. These locations, called hotspots, can be both located on and off campus. Once at the meeting point, the ride pioneer will use the app to request a taxi. Payment is almost instantaneous, with CabEasy dividing the bill for each user automatically. Students should always have access to a computer support company that is able to work with mobile devices in order to maintain the app’s useful service. This way, you can use CabEasy to effortlessly find a ride, save money, and enjoy the company of fellow students wherever you are going.
