Scott Wasserman, CTO of Artisan, Wants to Make Mobile Apps Easier for Your Business

Developing and designing a mobile app for your company can take an excessive amount of stress, time, and money.  Scott Wasserman, the CTO of Artisan, is working to reduce the issues many companies have developing an app for their business.  Wasserman originally founded Artisan under the name of appRenaissance in Philadelphia in 2010.  His goal has always been to improve the mobile app development and design processes for businesses.  Wasserman calls Artisan a “mobile experience management company” which offers tools to companies that allow them to make their app as optimal as possible for their target audience.  Wasserman’s mission benefits everyday customers as well.  Consumers who have needed mobile tech support to properly handle the apps on their phone know all too well how sloppy app design can be frustrating.  Clearly, Wasserman is a cool person in tech who is trying to improve the app development process for the benefit of businesses and consumers.

Wasserman is no stranger to being an entrepreneur in the tech industry.  Before founding Artisan and acting as CTO, he also co-founded Internet companies Stitch Networks and BizEquity.   He has twenty years of experience working in high technology companies.  He hopes to leverage his experience in his quest to allow businesses easier mobile app design and development.

Wasserman’s company’s main product, called Optimize, is a platform that allows anyone, including those who can’t code, to design and alter mobile applications.  The program allows companies to modify their apps quickly and simply when they want to make design changes.  The software even has the ability to create visual surveys for customers.  This allows companies to research what app designs resonate best with their audience.  Wasserman helped create this platform and he oversees it on a daily basis in his role as CTO of the company.  If you have questions about mobile apps on Android and iOS, smartphone computer support is a good place to start.

However, life isn’t all work at Artisan for Wasserman.  He also volunteers at Temple University, helping out at the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Institute.  He also has a seat on the board of the Wilmington University Game Design and Development School.  With his involvement in higher education, Wasserman seems to want to help nurture and develop cool people in technology like himself for the future as well.
